Description:

t was necessary to develop video surveillance and access control systems for the State Police building at 15 Gaujas Street as they are of critical importance for this type of institution. Our company was engaged in developing a project for the development of internal low-intensity current networks. An access control system is designed to arrange access control to premises, areas and resources by using a computerised system which determines the access of individuals by time, location or other parameters. In a State Police building these functions are of particular importance in order to ensure the security of both employees and visitors. We also developed a server cabinet monitoring system for video surveillance and data transmission, thus now it is possible to control the climate of the server room from a control computer, including the control of temperature, fire risks, unauthorised access to the office, etc. These solutions provide considerable assistance in managing customer’s systems, ensure lower operation costs and, most importantly, a high level of security. The optical network ensures optical data connections for each computer – in total, more than 150 work places were developed with an optical network connection. The building was equipped with 18 cameras and access control was installed on 20 doors.
