Design Works for the Renovation of an Office Centre at Latgales Street 187, Riga, Latvia
Development of a technical design project for the renovation of a four-storey office building, adapting part of the premises to meet the requirements of a modern data centre – for the installation of electronic communications equipment and infrastructure, ensuring high standards of security and efficiency.

Architectural Design
- Development of floor and roof plans;
- Adjustments to stairwells;
- Facade update;
- Creation and maintenance of a Revit model;
- Development of detailed drawings and specifications;
- Selection of flooring, ceiling, and finishing materials;
- Furniture layout and interior design solutions.
Engineering Design
- Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC);
- Water supply and internal sewerage (WS);
- Gas extinguishing system (GUS) with automation (GUS-A);
- Electrical supply (EL) and lighting layout;
- Fire detection and alarm systems (FDAS) and fire hydrant automation (FHA);
- Electronic communication systems (ECS): telecommunications (TK);
- BMS control system, access control (AC), security system (SS), and emergency call system for persons with disabilities (CI);
- Technology layout solutions for data centre premises;
- Structural design solutions, including lift shaft, openings, and doorway enlargements;
- Structural load-bearing capacity technical assessment.
Project Coordination
SIA Citrus Solutions provided full project management, coordination of architectural and engineering solutions, and technical evaluation of all building components. Particular attention was given to security and energy efficiency requirements, fire safety solutions, and ensuring uninterrupted operation of the data centre.
Result
A complete technical design project was developed for the office building with integrated data centre infrastructure. The proposed solutions ensure the transformation of the building into a modern, safe, and energy-efficient facility with fully integrated engineering systems and an environment suitable for continuous data centre operations.
