Description:
In order to improve the airspace control of Latvia and the Baltic States, a modern 3-dimensional mobile strategic-range air surveillance radar “AN/TPS-77” was placed at the property “Čalas” owned by the Ministry of Defence, replacing the current technologically obsolete radar located at the territory of Ventspils airport. Citrus Solutions contributed to improvement of our security as well.
We were responsible for the development of the low voltage and security systems construction design of the radar post, as well as construction of a new surveillance platform structure, access road and territory enclosure and installation of an overhang for the diesel generator. The performed works and the radar itself meet the highest advanced technology production and safety standards and it will be more efficient in use and environmentally friendly as the previous one, at the same time ensuring the highest operational capacity.
