Description:
Construction of full optical network: trenching, horizontal drilling, pipe laying, supply and installation of switchboards / points-of-presence (POPs), cable laying and blowing, optics installation and measurement, installation of electrical equipment and passive optical equipment, installation and assembly of optical network switchboards, shafts, asphalting and paving, building connections.

Construction of a high-speed network (next-generation network, NGA network) will be carried in several locations in the Saxony region:
- Landkreises Zwickau, Cluster Zwickau Ost, Los Nord: Waldenburg; Niederfrohna; Limbach-Oberfrohna; Callenberg; Hohenstein-Ernstthal; Oberlungwitz; Gersdorf
- Landkreises Zwickau, Cluster Zwickau West, Los Nord-Ost: Dennheritz, Oberwiera, Schöberg, Remse, Teile der Stadt Zwickau
- Landkreises Zwickau, Cluster Zwickau West, Los West: Crimmitschau; Langenbernsdort; Neukirchen/Pleiße; Werdau; Fraureuth
For the successful realisation of this project an alliance of suppliers named ARGE Eins has been formed. It consists of MRK Media AG and Citrus Solutions GmbH.
MRK Media AG will design the optical network and Citrus Solutions GmbH will be the general contractor.
